The
AXILOG has an alarm output that is activated if a preset level is exceeded on
one of the channels. The alarm responds immediately after a repetitive overload
during the last 30 seconds. This precludes that every accidental overload
triggers the alarm (this could be a door being slammed, somebody touching the
sensor, etc.). Once activated the alarm will respond to each consecutive
overload until the cause of the alarm is eliminated. The minimum alarm period
can be set on the AXILOG.
The lamp is a very intense flashlight that can be seen very
well, even in bright sunlight.
The lamp is powered with regular penlight batteries. Alkaline
type batteries will keep the lamp flashing for 8 hours continuously. Under
normal circumstances, the lamp should not light at all.
The lamp has a test button that can be used to test the
operation before use.
The AXILOG activates the alarm output when the logging is
started and when it is stopped so that the lamp can be checked.
The alarm lamp is designed for outdoor use. It has 5 meter of
cable. The cable can be extended with the extension cord that is available as an
option.
