AXILOG and sensorThe AXILOG measures the particle velocity and frequency in the X- Y- and Z-direction. The AXILOG is designed for measurements on buildings, to determine the chance that damage is caused by vibrations.

The displays on the AXILOG show the measured vibration speed and frequency of all three channels at the same time. You can also choose to see the peak value. This maximum can be reset to zero with a button.

The AXILOG logs the vibration speed and frequency with a selectable interval time. A minimum level can be set for the logging to preclude that many meaningless samples are stored. All samples that do not exceed the set level are discarded. A start and stop time can be set for the logging. If these times are set, the logging will only take place in the period between these two times of the day.

The AXILOG has an alarm output that is activated after a set level is exceeded by one of the channels. The time the output is activated can be set. An alarm lamp is available as an accessory.

During the measurements, the battery condition and the percentage of the memory that is filled with data can be seen on the displays.

The memory can be erased with a button on the AXILOG. This button can be deactivated with the PC software. This also applies for the arrow buttons with which setting can be changed. This way, the AXILOG can be placed in the field without being at risk that an unauthorized person changes settings or erases the memory.

The PC software that comes with the AXILOG complies with the 21CFR11 guideline of the American FDA.  This guideline describes how the software must handle data in order to guarantee the integrity of the information. If used properly, the software produces files that have the same status of signed hard-copy documents.

The PC software has the following functions:
- AXILOG set-up
- retrieve data
- present data
- store data
- manage data, i.e. with digital signatures
- real-time view of the measured values

The AXILOG can connect to a PC directly with a cable to a COM port or USB port. It can also connect through a modem (analog or GSM). And last but not least the AXILOG can connect to the PC via internet.

The software has selectable options for all local and remote connections. When the AXILOG is at a remote location and it connects through a modem or via internet, it is as if it is connected directly to the PC.

If you use the internet to connect to the AXILOG, you can connect to several AXILOGs in the field at the same time. You can access the instruments from every computer that has an internet connection. This can also be a laptop with a mobile internet connection.AXILOG complete

The AXILOG comes in a robust case in which there is place for the sensor and optional modem as well.
