Elli-Net
Elli-Net
is a wireless temperature measuring system. It is especially designed for
scattered temperature measurements in buildings such as measurements that are
done to check the risk of legionnaire's disease.
In water with a temperature of approximately 20 to 50 °C
there is a risk that the bacteria that causes legionnaire's disease will grow.
These conditions can occur in technical installations of hotels, hospitals,
swimming pools, elderly homes, etc. Sometimes it is possible to make changes to
the technical installation such that these conditions will not occur. Due to the
unpredictability of the use of (hot) water in these buildings, it is impossible
to completely exclude the risk of contamination of the water. There will always
be spots in the installation where the temperature must be monitored to make
sure that the water is safe.
Temperature measurements can be done by hand, but this is time
consuming and therefore expensive. Instrumentation of the installation is very
expensive since a cable must be installed to all measuring points.
Elli-Net solves these problems for you. Elli-Net consists of
temperature transceivers that communicate wireless. The transceivers
automatically form a network. The network can be accessed through one of the
transceivers. As long as a transceiver can communicate with at least one other
transceiver in the network, it is part of the network. By installing the
transceivers, a measuring net is formed in the building.
A PC can access Elli-Net through an interface (connected to
the USB port).
CelciTrack software logs, visualizes and reports the measured
temperatures.
The cost per temperature measurement point are very low.
The temperature measuring range is -20...100°C. The accuracy
of the sensor is +/-0.5°C in the range 15...60°C and
+/1°C over the entire measuring range.
The transceiver is powered from the grid and uses approximately 2 Watts.
The standard cable length of the sensor is 1 meter. It can be longer or shorter,
on request.
The transceiver uses the 433MHz band. The range is approximately 100 meter in
the open field. In a building, the range depends on the local circumstances.
When the distance between two transceivers is too large, an extra transceiver
can be used to bridge the distance.
