The sensor sensitivity can be programmed into the LI-19 such that the readout will show calibrated engineering units, rather than millivolts or microvolts. A card with the apropriate units can be placed behind a transparent window in the front panel. The maximum resolution of the LI-19 is 16 bits and the maximum sensitivity is 6 mV full scale. The error in the reading is 0.1%. The LI-19 has a build-in
datalogger. The storage interval and the start time are programmable through the
USB interface. At the end of the storage interval, the minimum, maximum and
average measured values are stored. The sample time is approx. 1 reading per
second and it is independent of the storage interval. Therefor the measured
averages can be used to obtain the integrated value of the measured signal. The LI-19 works for 50 days (24 hours a day) on a set of 2 penlight batteries. The LI-19 is delivered in a case that also has place for the sensor. The manual can be found on the download page. The LI-19 is available for OEMs, with adapted logo and software, meant to be be supplied with your sensors.
