The
Q-Tee is a 4 channel temperature logger. The most important features are:
- software complies with 21CFR11 directive of
the FDA
The 21CFR11 directive from the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
describes how to handle measured data so that the integrity of the data is
ensured. The
software detects changes made to the original data files. The software offers a
hierarchical structure within which users can handle the measured data with
pre-assigned rights. All actions are logged and recorded in the data file.
- 4 channels
The logger has 4 channels that can be switched on and off individually.
- 0.2°C accuracy
The logger measures the temperature with an accuracy of 0.2°C at 0...70°C. Over
the total range of -40 to 120°C the accuracy is +/-0.8°C.
- 0.01 °C resolution
The measured values have a resolution of 0.01°C. This means that very small
changes in temperature can be detected.
- range -40...120°C
The measuring range is -40...120°C. The logger operates at ambient temperatures
between -40 and 85°C.
- low cost
The logger has an excellent quality. Because of the very practical design
the cost are kept low.
- Battery life time
A 3.6 V AA size Lithium battery will keep the logger going for a year.
- Infra red wireless communication
The logger is programmed and data is retrieved through a wireless infra red
interface. The interface connects to a USB port on the PC.
Using the Q-Tee
As soon as the interface is within range
of the infra red eye of the logger, the data and settings are read from the
logger. The data is stored on disk and a graph can be presented on the screen.
The data can be exported for further analysis
with other software, i.e. Excel.
A user with sufficient rights can program the
logger and clear the logger's memory.
As soon as the logger is programmed, it is ready
to start logging. The logging can be started (and stopped) with a magnet. A LED
on the logger shows the status of the logger (armed - logging - memory full).
