Analytical
monitoring of PV systems
The PRO-NET system is a modular data logger with special interfaces for grid-connected inverters. Depending on the inverter type there is a set of measured values available from the inverter. This information can be combined with other information such as solar irradiance, temperatures, energy use, etc. PRO-NET has analog inputs that can be used to measure the DC voltage and current of the strings, withstanding up to 500 VDC channel to channel offset.
Remote supervision and control
The PRO-SCAN software can be used to supervise the inverters. PRO-SCAN offers the possibility to build a slide show. The screens can contain a (graphical) presentation of the measured values. The information can be obtained from the inverters and additional sensors, such as solar irradiation and ambient temperature. The status of the inverters can be shown. The connection to the PRO-NET system can be made direct, or through a regular telephone line, or with a
GSM modem. Some inverters offer the possibility to be controlled through the data interface. If this feature is implemented in the inverter, PRO-SCAN can be used to control the inverter.
The PRO-NET system makes the measured values available for presentation on a PC screen or message display. This way a supervision system can be made, showing the status and performance of the inverters. Some inverters can be controlled through the data interface. If this feature is implemented in the inverter, PRO-SCAN can be used to switch the inverter on and off.
PRO-SCAN can also be used to build a slide show. This is used to make presentations that are shown in public places. Real-time measured values can be presented in graphs, bar graphs or as numbers, with a photo or schematic diagram of the system as background.
Message display
The measured values and free programmable text can be shown on a message display. The length of the text is not limited. There is
also a small display available that can be installed in the living room.
