The coated version of the PRW housing is suited for applications where the system is placed in a domestic environment. For industrial applications, the coating is not required. The housing itself is IP66 protected. There are connectors on the front that have a lower protection level. If required, the system can be produced with IP66 protection.

The power supply is linear. The transformer, fuses and filtering are built in the rear compartment of the housing. There are connectors on the front for the PRO-NET network, for the connection to the PC and a connector that gives a PC access to the network. The PRO-NET network can be expanded to 30 measuring stations. A rack takes approximately 10 boards, depending on the type of board.

The uncoated version of the housing has a transparent cover that normally gets a blue sticker. If the LCD display POB-D is mounted in the housing, the sticker has an opening through which the display is visible. Thus the IP66 protection is maintained.

The PRO-NET housing is assembled as follows:
bullet

a body without, with a single or with a double connection panel

bullet

housing segments that provide the depth of the housing

A standard housing (PRW) has a body with one connection panel, a depth suited for the PRO-NET boards and a transparent cover with a non transparent blue front sticker.

All housing parts are available with or without coating.
