This overview lists all PRO-NET input and output boards.

analogue

PIB-A
7 Single ended, bipolar inputs with common ground.
Input range programmable from 10mV...2V full scale.
Jumpers for 0.1% 100 Ohm input resistor for 0...20mA or 4...20mA current loop signals.
Accuracy better than 0.1% of full scale.
Zero drift is compensated automatically.

PIB-AD
7 Differential, bipolar inputs with common ground.
Input range programmable 10mV...2V full scale.
Jumpers for 0.1% 100 Ohm input resistor for 0...20mA or 4...20mA current loop signals.
Accuracy better than 0.5% of full scale.
Zero drift is compensated automatically.

PIB-AI
4 Optically isolated (from system and from each other) inputs.
Range programmable from 100mV...10V full scale.
Accuracy better than 0.5% of full scale.
Max. 500V offset between channels and input to system.

digital

PIB-SI
8 Status (on/off) inputs with optical isolation, 5...24VDC.
Max. 500V offset.

PIB-S
8 Status (on/off) inputs, CMOS/TTL signal levels with common ground and pull-up resistors to +5VDC. Has 5VDC power supply for external logic.
Suited for switch contacts and open-collector outputs.

PIB-C
8 Counter inputs, frequency 50 Hz max.
Optically isolated, with filter for contact bounce. Suited for reed contacts, switches, open-collector outputs, etc.

PIB-TH
4 Pt-100 inputs.
2- or 4-wire connection.
Accuracy better than IEC 571 A.
Linearization according IEC 571.
Range  -20...+240 °C.

PIB-TL
8 Smartec temperature sensor inputs.
Range -20...+100 °C, total error <2 °C.
For very low cost sensors in TO-220 and TO-92 housing.

heat

PIB-W
Heat calculator for two sets of 2 Pt-100's and a flow meter.
No minimal delta-T, works in two directions (heating and cooling), very high resolution. Especially for low heat amounts, low delta-T's, low flows, special fluids. Can operate stand alone with optional display.

control

POB-R
8 Relay contacts, 250VAC, 3A max.
Normally-open or normally-closed contact.

printer

POB-P
Standard parallel printer port for PRO-NET.
Print measured values, calculated results, text etc. Designed for use in  automated systems to print stickers, labels, QA tags etc.

display

POB-D
LCD display. 2 lines with 16 characters each.
Any text or number can be shown, fully programmable from the measuring program.

POB-M
Interface to a moving message display. There are protocols for several types of displays. The text on the display is fully programmable.

external equipment
interfaces

PIB-IV
This interface connects a broad range of external equipment to the PRO-NET system. There are protocols for many devices including a group of grid connected PV inverters such as: Siemens, Mastervolt, OK services, SMA Sunny Boy and ASP inverters and AC-modules. There is an M-Bus interface, an interface for Viterra heat meters, Senertec combined heat and electrical power generators, etc. The interface has two RS-485 channels that can be converted to RS-232 if required.

system

PMB
The PRO-NET master executes the measuring program and stores the measured data. It communicates with the PC.

PCB
This board controls a number of I/O boards in the system. A maximum of 30 I/O controllers can be connected to the PRO-NET network. Each I/O controller can have up to 8 I/O boards connected to it.

PPS
This is the PRO-NET power supply. The power supply is linear. The transformer is mounted in the housing, not on this board. The input voltage is 230VAC, 115 VAC is optional.

PRW
All boards are housed in the PRO-NET PRW.
