Description
This board has 8 counter inputs. Each of the inputs is optically isolated.
There are jumpers to connect the input ground to the system ground and for a
pull-up resistor.
The input signal is filtered at 50Hz. Each input can count up to 255 and will
then go to zero again. It must be made sure in the measuring program that the
input is read before it reaches the maximum, otherwise pulses will be lost. The
counter can either remain unchanged or be reset to zero when read.
The inputs are suited for switch contacts and open collector signals. Each
input has a LED that shows the status of the input.
