Description

This board can measure two heat flows. It has inputs for two flow meters and four Pt-100 sensors.

The following measurements are available from the board, when used in a PRO-NET system:

bullet

All temperatures in °C.

bullet

The momentary flow in l/h.

bullet

The volume since power-up in m3.

bullet

The flow since the last time this value was read from the board, in l.

bullet

The number of pulses from the flow meter since the last time this value was read from the board.

bullet

Energy total since start of measurement. This value is divided over two registers. One holding the measured number of MJ, the other one holding the number of J. The resolution is therefore 1 J.

bullet

Energy since the last time this value was read from the board, in J.

bullet

Momentary power in W. The power is calculated from two consecutive pulses from the water meter. If there is more than 30 s between two pulses, the power is set to 0.

bullet

The hardware setting of the number of pulses per liter.

The board is designed for use in a PRO-NET system. It can also be used stand-alone when equipped with a display. The measured values are shown on the display.

The inputs on the PIB-W can be used as measuring channels individually. If there is only one heat measurement, the remaining channels can be used for regular measurements.
