Description

This is the PRO-NET master. This board holds and executes the measuring program, saves the measured values in a database and communicates with the PC. The measuring program is written on a PC with the PRO-WIN software. The programmability makes that the PRO-NET system can take action depending on the measured and/or calculated values. This makes the system very suited for automated sequences, such as calibration set-ups, endurance tests, production supervisory systems etc.

The master can make up to 256 values available for real-time presentation. The PRO-SCAN software can show these values, formatted and placed on a background. The background can be a picture or diagram. If there is more than a single screen to be shown, the screens can automatically scroll at a preset speed. The presentation of the measured and calculated values is completely independent from the measuring cycle.

The values that can be presented in real time by the PRO-SCAN can also be changed with this software. This way it is possible to change the values during program execution and influence the program.

The board is connected to the PRO-NET network and may be placed anywhere in the system.

The master connects to PC using RS-232. This connection can also be made through a modem. PRO-NET can be programmed from a distance and the data can be retrieved through the modem connection. The modem can be a regular analogue telephone line modem or a GSM modem.
