Description

This board provides an LPT printer port on the PRO-NET system. The printer can be controlled from the measuring program. The printer option is very suited for printing of labels, QA tags, stickers, etc. in automated systems.

The printer interface is connected to the PRO-NET master PMB. There are special instructions for formatting, printing text, printing numbers and sending control characters.

The printer must have a Centronics parallel interface. Most simple matrix printers can be used.

The printer is connected with a standard printer cable to the 25-p female sub-connector.
