Stability assessments and dike monitoring
The data from these sensors is essential for stability measurements and slope/dike monitoring. When reinforcing dikes or installing sheet piles, it is critical that the pore pressure in the water-bearing layer stays within safe limits. The pressure is measured using a built-in diaphragm located in a cone.
Via two filters in the cone, the sensor contacts the soil and measures the groundwater pressure. To reduce temperature-related measurement variations, temperature sensors are included as well. The sensor is insensitive to air pressure fluctuations due to its unique sealed housing and glycerin-filled interior. This also helps prevent bacterial growth.
Two setup options
You can choose from two versions:
- A telemetry solution with ElliTrack and cloud access
- A standalone version with LevelStick, ideal for local data collection
The LevelStick is especially easy to install and remains in place even during backfilling.
Its design allows precise placement at the correct depth, thanks to a mechanical seal and minimal dead volume. It comes in both absolute and pressure-compensated versions.
