EC sensors

EC sensors, also known as electrical conductivity sensors, are advanced instruments used for precise measurements of the electrical conductivity of various substances.

Current and resistance

EC sensors work by measuring the resistance between two electrodes when an electric current is passed through a solution. The higher the concentration of dissolved ions, the higher the conductivity and the lower the resistance.

These sensors are used in a variety of applications, including water quality monitoring, soil moisture monitoring and controlling dissolved substance concentrations in industrial processes.

ElliTrack-G

The ElliTrack-G is a battery-powered EC (Electrical Conductivity) datalogger that sends measured conductivity data to a cloud portal via mobile internet.

Display

The instrument includes a small display, which is useful during installation and maintenance. It shows:

  • (Real-time) conductivity measurements
  • Status of mobile data communication and data upload progress
  • Battery status
  • Groundwater temperature

Data is displayed graphically and can easily be exported manually or automatically to your own platform.
